Van Cleef & Arpels - Spring Ownership 2020
The change of seasons might not be obvious or even hold much weight in the tropical climate of Singapore, but working with flowers makes us sensitive to these shifts. Earlier in 2020, we welcomed Spring together with Van Cleef & Arpels, a long-standing partner with us.
The COVID-19 situation was only beginning to ruck up a fuss and many were getting increasingly worried about health and going out. Van Cleef & Arpels, as part of their Spring Ownership initiative, sent flowers and cards of well wishes to their clients in a bid to cheer them up.
We are glad to have been part of this, allowing us to contribute the beauty of flowers, especially the radiant blooms of Spring flowers towards brightening up someone elseβs day.
The finalised design of the gift was a flower arrangement in a brightly-colored vase. The flowers we chose included Ranunculus in peach, white Anemones, and the beautifully folded petals of pink eustomas. We are particularly fond of the peach-pink color palette to represent Spring, a gentle and comforting pastel tone to welcome the start of a new season.
We sent out a total of over hundreds of vases over the course of a few days and we are glad to say that we have been part of this effort at bringing nature to others. We believe in the ability of flowers in bringing joy to others and it is with efforts like this one, with long-standing partners who also value flowers, that we find satisfaction in our work.
Spring might have come and gone in 2020, but we look forward to discovering new ways to present even more interesting new flowers every year when Spring comes around.
