Inspiration: Summer Breeze
In Singapore, every day is summer.

I might not be able to fully grasp the meaning of four seasons, but summer is my least favourite one. I rarely travel during summer – however the trip to Italy in summer five years ago was a trip I would never regret.
Italy has one of the most vibrant and lively mood during summer. It has the sun, the light, the beach, the food, the sight and many more. The summer in south Italy was perfect. Driving along the Amalfi coast, visiting the garden of Villa Cimbrone and sipping the lemonade slushy by the roadside in Positano – those memories are as vivid to me today as they were five years ago.

the jasmine’s in bloom
July is dressed up and playing her tune
And I come home from a hard day’s work
And you’re waiting there, not a care in the world”
Here’s a piece inspired by my memories of Italy featuring Fritillaries Imperialis, Achillea Millefolium, Physocarpus and Lemon.
I am imagining bushes of bougainvillea by the street, orange parasol on a sand beach and clear sky – do you see what I see?
